Hey Everyone!
I am so sorry to those devout Blog readers, who have been wondering what in the world happened to Caroline. Well, on 6/19/08 my life changed drastically for the next 63 days. When the tornado hit Savannah, it also hit my home. The tornado threw a 50 ft. pine in & on our home, severely damaging our living & office quarters. So, I was without an office for over 2 months & without my home computer. My iPhone is great, but just not the same.
I thank those individuals for helping us out during "Devastation & Displacement '08". We really appreciate everything you did to help us through the bump in the road. Thanks for the prayers, offers of a place to live, an actual place to live (so that I wouldn't have to endure 2+ months of extended stay), meals, friendship, and many nights of fun! We are so thankful to have such great family & friends!
Now on to weddings... I did my biggest wedding yet back on 8/9. 600+ guests, and a wedding party of 36---& one fun-loving, nice family! Brooke was gorgeous. Next wedding is Jamie & Peter's. In the meantime, I am gearing up for UGA Football & a trip to France & England w/my Mom---seriously can't wait for that one. Recently got back from our trip to Maui. That was by far the most incredible trip I have ever been on. It far exceeded my expectations. Thanks again Stu for winning such an awesome trip & rocking at your job!
I will do my best to keep up with the post...thanks for reading...
Take care,
Caroline :)

Seriously...My Contract Didn't State Dancing...

Hey Everyone---This post is dedicated to all of my Mermaid Lady Friends. God Bless us all for actually participating in that event. I know it will be something that we talk & laugh about for ages. And, of course no one, but those of us involved can relate. I had a great time with you, my friends, because believe me I could have never made it through without you!!! But, the Pinot Grigio helped alot! And Laura, I hear that they want their ham sandwich back! ;)
On another note, my precious Bride---Kelli, is getting married next Friday. Only 10 more days to go!!! Yippee! I am so excited, as I know she & her family are too. One last meeting this week, before the Big Day. Kelli is going to be a beautiful bride---and not to mention, just so darn sweet!
Have a great week!!!
Take care,
Caroline :)

I'm Here...
Hey Everyone---O.K. so I haven't written in awhile. I was busy last week with 2 Bridal Mtgs. and a Union Mission Mtg. So sorry for no blogs.
Well, we had a really nice Holiday weekend, as I am sure everyone else did too. We had a great dinner w/our friends Kel & Dan @ Bonna Bella Friday night, had a super exciting night just the two of us Sat. night---Barnes & Noble & Macaroni Grill, then Sun. night my fun neighbor/friend Amy came over for apps. & wine, and then Mon. I spent the day chilling with my Mom at the pool. So, all in all, a very nice, fun, & relaxing mini-vaca.
Tomorrow night I have "CCC". I will explain more about this fantastic group on a blog soon---maybe even post a picture.
Well that's all for now, not too much to report---oh, except my good friend Leah called me yesterday to tell me that she spotted the Peacock on IOH. That's crazy---I guess her owner's aren't too worried!
I hope everyone has a great rest of this short work week!
Take care,
Caroline :)

What a Great Group of Women...

Hey Everyone---Well as you can see, I have a great group of friends, many of which I met through the Junior League. They are all just so darn cute too! This was the group of ladies that took me out for a celebratory drink after I was inducted as a Sustainer in the Junior League. They all loved the idea that I would "Blog" them....I just hate that Laura is not in the picture---she is the photographer of both. Thanks again Ladies to a fabulous evening!
I just met with a Groom's mother. She was just so nice, & I just love to see the excitement a Mom has when one of her children is engaged! It is just so awesome! She had some pretty tasty snacks too!
I hope everyone has a fabulous week. Kel & Dan---we are already looking forward to Friday!
Take care,
Caroline :)

Congrats all around...

Hey Everyone---As you can see the wedding of Jane & Neil yesterday was anything but ordinary. In one word, I could sum it all up "Romantic." Yes, it was raining at the Ceremony, but you would have never known. Jane & Neil are so laid back, and had the "big picture" at heart the entire time---to become Husband & Wife. They are two very incredible people. And, their families were just so friendly & nice. Everyone huddled underneath the gazebo-in Whitfield Square, which made the ceremony so intimate. And, yes..."may rain fall soft upon your fields..."
I had the joy of working with Teresa Earnest http://www.memoriesnmore.net/. She is so easy to work with and is talented to say the least! One really cool aspect was that she was also taking photographs with the guests cameras. I thought this was so cool. This was a destination wedding of just family & very close friends, so they were able to get some shots to be able to take back home with them immediately. Natalie & Heidi outdid themselves, as usual! http://www.atozinnias.com/. And Carrie made an incredible wedding cake http://www.twofabulouscakes.com/. I love getting to work with all of these very talented vendors!
I can also take a sigh of relief. The tour is over!!! We were so happy to be asked to put our home on tour, and the money raised went to a great cause...but, yes, it is stressful pulling it all together when you have had a week as busy as this one has been. But, it has all been so worth it! Tonight we are off to celebrate our 5 yr. wedding anniversary---& I can't wait! Bye for now...
Take care,
Caroline
P.S. Ali---thank you for the card. I really appreciate it.... :)

One Crazy but Fab. Week...
Hey Everyone---Sorry I haven't written in a while, but life has been a little hectic this week to say the least. First the week started off with me taking Sustainer Status with the Junior League. We had our Annual Mtg. this past Monday. And, what a fun night that was! Some of my girlfriends then took me out for a celebratory drink to toast my years of leadership & volunteerism with the League. Thank you Ladies for a fun toast & evening!!! I will post a picture of all of my great League girlfriends soon. I have been a member of the Sav'h Junior League since 1998. It has been a great ride & privilege, and I look forward to continuing to volunteer with them as a Sustainer.
If you have the time you should definitely check out the Tour of Homes featuring Mid-Century Architecture in Savannah, this Saturday. Five homes will be featured on this weekend's tour. And, the great benefit of this tour is that all of the proceeds goes to benefit the American Diabetes Association. And, there is also a cocktail party tomorrow night! If you want to check out the details go to http://www.midcentury.worldpress.com/
I had a wedding rehearsal this evening for a couple that is getting married tomorrow afternoon. Jane & Neil are such a great couple, and have chosen a beautiful square downtown! And, Jane is going to be a Gorgeous Bride! I can't wait to share some pictures of the day with you.
That's all for now...
Take care,
Caroline :)

Help to Stamp out Hunger...
Happy Friday Everyone---The Savannah Second Harvest Food Bank is desperately in need of non-perishable food donations to help stock their shelves. If you leave your items in/at your mailbox tomorrow your local Postal Service Members will collect your donations, or you can take your donations to your local Post Office. This is for the Savannah, Pooler, & Hinesville areas. I saw the shelves today when I went to drop off donations made by the employees of Byrd Cookie Co. & seriously, they are empty. This is their largest fundraiser of the year & they really depend on the community. If everyone left even just 2 items in their mailbox, think of the great impact we would have on helping them!
I also hope everyone has a wonderful weekend & Mother's Day!
Take care,
Caroline :)

Way To Go Stu...
photo by joy0302Happy Wednesday Everyone! We are all just that much closer to the weekend. This weekend Stu & I are headed out of town to the TPC in Jax. We always enjoy this Golf Tournament & are so thankful for our tickets from our friend Steve. Then we have a Dinner Celebration on Sunday in honor of our Mom! Happy Mother's Day Mom!!!
I have to brag a little on my husband. Stu has made President's Club with his job! I am so proud of him & everything that he accomplished. Not only is this huge for his career, but we are going to Maui in July!!! I am super excited. I am counting down the days. We leave in 79 to be exact! Stu & I haven't been on a trip of this magnitude, since our honeymoon to Ireland 5 years ago. We are actually celebrating our 5 yr. anniversary next Sat. Yeah!!!! And what an incredible 5 yrs. it has been. Stu---thank you for being my best friend & the best husband I could have ever imagined! I thank God everyday that you are in my life.
No new animal sightings today...but you never know what tomorrow will bring!
Take care,
Caroline :)

What in the world...

Well, you see what was in my backyard this morning, then up on my roof, and then in the front yard....a PEACOCK. That is correct...a Peacock. From what I have learned, this is a female. She was very friendly & even let me get pretty close. And, of course I have pictures to prove it, as I know my family & friends would have questioned me on if there really was a Peacock. Stu was not as thrilled (or Trilled as I like to say it) as I was about my discovery. She was just so beautiful! Too cool. As some of you know, our homes have always been sort of like Animal Kingdom. At our townhouse we had abandoned kittens and injured birds. Now, at the new home we have had turtles at the front door & Peacocks in the yard. I can't wait to see what shows up next!
Tonight I have a conference call with a destination bride,---Jane. Jane & Neil are getting married next Friday in this beautiful town. I can't wait for their outdoor ceremony! I know everything is going to be absolutely beautiful. They have chosen an awesome spot, and best of all, have kept the guest list to family & their closest friends. What a very special & intimate event.
Gotta run...just heard that the peacock is back in the neighborhood & that she is actually someone's pet & has been missing for 2 weeks. So glad that she is getting to safety & back to her home soon!
Take care,
Caroline :)

1st Post!!!

Hey There Everyone---This is my very first post & I am super excited! I do have to give a huge "Shout Out" to Brian Amory. Brian has been instrumental in helping me get my website & blog up & running. He has worked long & hard to get it "just right." It is still a work in progress---I guess it always will be since I will be adding more & more pictures, with every wedding that I coordinate.
The biggest "Shout Out" goes out to all of my family (that's me in the middle with my Family on our Favorite Holiday-St. Patrick's Day) & friends who have been so supportive over this last year, as I have really gotten my business off the ground. Above all, my husband-Stu, has been such a huge motivator for me & my biggest fan---well, maybe not, I think that would have to go to my Mom! ;) My Dad for his expertise in the Printing World, my brother---Robert for his legal expertise, and last but in no way least, my wonderful sister-in-law---Shana. Shana has been my enthusiastic right hand at all of the weddings that I have coordinated. And to you Heather, you have no idea how thankful I am for your creative talents! Check her out--- http://www.htcreative.net/ I am so excited about my business, and love each Bride that I have worked with or am still in the process of working with. I have also gotten to meet some of the best wedding professionals/vendors in Savannah. Man are they talented! I also thank them for their support.
I hope everyone is enjoying their beautiful Sunday!
Take care,
Caroline
